The Fukuoka Nike Dunk is set to release this weekend as part of the Nike Dunk Japan Pack.  This release is just in time for the traditional Japanese festival called Yamakasa, which takes place during the month of July in the city of Fukuoka.  The colorful shrines and floats of the 700 year-old celebration serve as the inspiration for this vibrant sneaker.  Multi-colored, patent leather panels cover the shoe with the exception of the heel, which features an intricate detailing etched in the leather.  The official release date is Saturday, June 28, but the shoes will only be sold at top tier Nike retailers in Japan. via Hypebeast / Stussy

Air Jordan 10 “Chicago” #45 Sample

As much as Jordan fans were happy to see the first Jordan Countdown Package that featured the White/Black Jordan 13 and Shadow Grey Jordan 10, I think that few would complain if the retro double pack included not only the “Chicago” Jordan 10, but also with the #45 stitched onto the side. This sample pair made its way to eBay just recently and from the tag you can tell that this was a “LKS Sample” which means “Look-See sample”. There is always a round of a few of these, but this one didn’t make the cut.

We do not have any confirmation whether this is a 1/1 sample, but the numbers of these would be extremely small given the fact that it never went into production for sales reps to carry with them. Hopefully we will see Jordan Brand bring this shoe out in the future, but for now, sample collectors will have their one and only shot on eBay to get them. – via nicekicks.com
