Who are you reppin’ ? My Bloodline in Puerto Rico, Secret Service ( rap group ) and DeadStock Kicks.
Where did the name INDIGO CHILD come from? It’s very complex, but it’s a title that describes people in my condition and me perfectly as a person, and since my music is a reflection of me it seems only right to use it.
So you’re a rapper. What did you want to be when you were younger? Baseball player, the rapping thing is really a recent decision.
If no one ever heard of you, what would you tell them to win them over? I would tell them, there’s much more to life, both physically and spiritually than what we come across daily and choose to believe no matter how skeptic you are and how much proof you want. You see a touch of god in the eyes of all that’s good.
I know you are into fashion, what do you wear? I’m versatile in what I wear. Casually, you can catch me in a polo, lacoste, or collared shirt. Sometimes a stussy shirt. Sneakers usually, something in my Nike collection or pradas.
What gets your attention? Anything that displays the true human potential to push our limits. Imagination also gets my attention b/c that’s what this world is made of, believe it or not. Yea I’m a sci-fi nerd ha-ha.
What makes INDIGO CHILD, INDIGO CHILD? Indigo Child makes Indigo child, ha-ha. A Conscious curiosity to seek things that are unknown and different and expose it, opposing the common fear people have for things that are different or unknown. Along with the determination to progress as a person in all aspects, physically, mentally and spiritually, where I’m from it’s very common to notice how people like to familiarize themselves with what’s comfortable, I take myself out of my comfort zone. Along with out of the ordinary answers like these ha-ha. That’s what makes Indigo Child.
Mainstream? Mainstream, meaning radio friendly? Then yea since I don’t see anything wrong with being mainstream unless it’s pure B.S. and propaganda. The type of stuff you just have a gut feeling is brainwashing. Human instinct is underrated.
Underground? Yea b/c that’s where you can really be YOU in the music industry.
What we can we look for from you in the next year? My evolution as an artist, stepping into the scene. Entertainment and stimulation. I say stimulation b/c that what music does, moves us.
